Official Bloom Babe is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

What that means in plain terms

  • Some links in my plant guides and gear round-ups are affiliate links.
  • If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission.
  • It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same as it would be if you had gone to Amazon directly.
  • Every affiliate link is tagged in the page’s code as sponsored, which is how search engines and screen readers know what it is.

How I pick what to link to

I only link to things I would actually use on my own plants. Nobody pays me to feature a product, and no brand has editorial input into what I write. If a recommendation ever is paid for or gifted, it will say so directly in that post.

My affiliate links point at Amazon search results rather than one specific product, and I don’t quote prices. Prices and stock change constantly, and a stale number in a guide helps nobody.

What I can and can’t see

I never see who clicked a link, what you browsed, or what ended up in your basket. All I get is an anonymous total in an Associates dashboard. Once you click through, you are on Amazon and their privacy policy applies — there is more on this in my privacy policy.
