The short version
Official Bloom Babe is a plant-education site run by one person. You are welcome to read, share links to, and learn from everything here. In return, please treat the writing and photos as mine, understand that plant advice is general guidance rather than a guarantee, and know that some links earn me a small commission. That is really all these terms say. The long version follows.
These terms cover officialbloombabe.com and blog.officialbloombabe.com. By using either site you agree to them. If you don’t, the fix is simple: don’t use the sites.
What this site is, and isn’t
Everything here is written for general information and inspiration: how to keep houseplants alive, which products have worked for me, and how to set up a planty space. It is based on my own experience and research. It is not professional horticultural, veterinary, medical, or safety advice, and it is not a promise that a plant will thrive for you. Plants respond to light, water, humidity and the person caring for them, and yours will not be identical to mine.
A few things to check for yourself, always: whether a plant is toxic to your pets or children, whether a product is safe for the way you plan to use it, and any electrical or fire-safety guidance that comes with grow lights, humidifiers, fans and cabinet setups. When in doubt, ask a vet, a doctor, or a qualified electrician.

Prices, stock, specifications and availability belong to the retailer, not to me, and they change constantly. I don’t quote prices for that reason. Any purchase you make happens on the retailer’s site under the retailer’s terms, and questions about an order, a refund or a faulty product go to them.
Using the content
The text, photographs, illustrations, graphics, downloadable guides and the Official Bloom Babe name and wordmark are mine unless a caption says otherwise. Some images are photographs I took; some are digitally generated to my direction. Either way, they are part of this site’s work.
- You can: read everything, print it for yourself, share a link anywhere, quote a short passage with a link back, and pin an image to Pinterest as long as the pin points to the page it came from.
- Please don’t: republish whole articles or guides, sell or redistribute the free cheat sheet, strip the branding from images, or use the content to train or feed an automated system without asking first. Email me if you want to do something not covered here. I say yes to most reasonable requests.
Things you send me
If you email me, use the contact form, or tag the account on social media, you are giving me permission to read what you sent and to reply. If you share a plant photo or a story and say you’re happy for it to be featured, I may use it on the site or social channels with credit. I will never publish something you sent privately without asking. How I handle the personal details in those messages is explained in the privacy policy.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Amazon, to social platforms, and occasionally to other plant people’s work. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and I don’t control them. A link is a recommendation to have a look, not an endorsement of everything on the other end.
Keeping the site up
I try to keep both sites available and accurate, but they are provided as they are. I can’t promise they will always be online, error-free, or up to date, and I may change, move or remove content at any time. Please don’t try to break the sites, scrape them at volume, or interfere with how they work for other visitors.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Official Bloom Babe is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from relying on the information here, from a product bought through a link, or from being unable to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
